Dr. Myra Pahilan-Firaza is a graduate of the University of the Philippines-Manila, College of Medicine under the Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine (INTARMED) 7-year medical education program. She underwent her 5-year General Surgery training in Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She passed her examinations in General Surgery and was conferred a Diplomate of the said specialty. She then  took further 3-year training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in St. Luke's Medical Center, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, FEU-NRMF and Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She has undergone rigorous training in managing complex plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic cases. Dr. Pahilan-Firaza fosters an open and honest communication with her patients, and she recognizes that excellent patient education creates realistic expectations.

Other than her surgical career, Dr. Pahilan-Firaza is a certified board-passer in the United States-Medical Licensure Examination. She further took a degree in Public Health and Hospital Administration. She also excels in the areas of teaching, research, mentorship, and community service.
